WHAT IS SNAP ACTION?
SNAP ACTION is all about keeping New Mexicans enrolled in SNAP and Medicaid. Since the recent federal changes, applying to SNAP and Medicaid has been more difficult than ever, and the problems don’t stop once you are enrolled. The biggest problem is that most people don’t know what to do!
But we are doing something about it.
SNAP ACTION volunteers are spreading the word and keeping New Mexico informed – talking with their friends, family, neighbors, coworkers – about what they need to keep their benefits. And the best part? Volunteering helps YOU keep your benefits!
