Below is a list of food assistance resources while SNAP benefits remain uncertain. Please contact Health Action at 505-322-2152 if you have items to add to this list
NM commits $30 Million to SNAP
This will fund about 10 days of SNAP benefits for New Mexicans. The state is exploring additional funds and pressuring the federal government to fund the program for the remainder of the month.
You can continue using your EBT card as normal until the funds run out.

Farmers' Market vouchers
Farmers Markets are offering vouchers for families who qualify. Check with your local farmers market to see if there's a program for you.
Food banks
Food banks are experiencing unprecedented demand, but with some extra financial assistance from the state, they are still committed to helping every hungry New Mexican.

Restaurants pledging free meals
Upon the announcement of the pause of benefits, many NM restaurants pledged to help their community by providing free meals to kids or some other form of assistance.
