My name is Alessandra. I am currently 40. I have been in the Penasco area since 2000. I run a theatre here in Penasco. I am uninsured. My kids are insured through Medicaid.

I was insured when I was pregnant, and I was able to stay on Medicaid for a short amount of time. But, then they kicked me off because I made too much money ($200 a week). I was in the process of having dental work done, and I was referred to go to a Periodontist. But then I didn’t have any Medicaid to cover. So, I haven’t done it. I haven’t been able to follow up with it. It was about $4,000. They said if I didn’t do it, I would lose all my teeth. If I didn’t take care of it in the next year I would start losing those teeth.

I would love to enroll in Medicaid. I don’t know how to enroll. I need some help finding out how to enroll
